Singular / Plural postfix

Hello,

I'd like to add a postfix but it needs to be different for singular or plural. In my slider I have a range from 1 to 10. If the selected value is 1, then the postfix should be " item", otherwise " items".

I cannot find a way to do that. I tried to use the onChange event and '.update' method to update the postfix property according to its value (data.from), but it seems that when I use the '.update' method, the slider 'looses' focus, so I cannot drag the slider more than 1 step at a time.

How can I do that?
