This app uses MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js (MERN). The National Parks data is fetched from a third-party API. The front-end and back-end are housed in two separate repositories (linked at top). The trails data was generated through an API built by the dev team. The back-end includes RESTful routes and is deployed via Heroku.
