[Nuxt 3] How to Use TanStack Query for JWT Authentication in Nuxt 3?

I'm working on a project using Nuxt 3 with TypeScript and TanStack Query. I'm trying to implement authentication using JWT tokens, and I have a few questions about how to properly set this up with TanStack Query.

Scenario:

• I have two tokens: access and refresh.
• The access token has a short lifespan and is used for most requests.
• The refresh token is used to obtain a new access token when the current one expires.
• I want TanStack Query to automatically refresh the access token before making any request if it’s expired and use the refresh token to get a new access token.

Questions:

1. What’s the best way to set up access token revalidation using TanStack Query? Should I use queryFn, mutationFn, or some other approach?
2. How should I handle the situation when both access and refresh tokens are expired? How can I best intercept a 401 error and request new tokens?
3. Are there any best practices or patterns for setting up TanStack Query to work with JWT-based authentication that you can share?
