edit There seems to be a bug where if you start a download and cancel it multiple times for the same release, it does not update the UI even if you wait for it to be installed. I will try my best to fix it in the next update. If you encounter that problem, you can simply restart the application.

ProtonPlus v0.4.0 (4th of April 2023)

This update took a really long time, because I completely remade the UI and improved the overall code structure. Since it's a pretty big release, make sure to give us a feedback and/or if you encounter any problem to report it. That would be very appreciated!

edit A text will be displayed after each installation saying that you need to restart Steam even if the selected launcher is not Steam. I just forgot to put a check on that. It will be fixed in the next update!

edit I forgot to change the date in the appdata file for this release. It will say it was released a long time ago, but it was not. I will fix it in the next update that should be coming pretty soon.

edit The UI has a special version just for the Steam Deck gaming mode which will fullscreen the application and change the layout of some stuff to make sure the experience is the best on it. I plan on adding a custom theme for the Steam Deck and gestures so that you can use the Steam Deck touchscreen to browse the application.

The basic support for Bottles have been added, but there's more work needed to make it flawless. I will need to add a list of available tools and releases for each launcher in a json file that I will host on GitHub. It will give me more control overall which is a good thing. If you have any questions about that, just ask me in the discussion regarding this release.

If you're interested, basically Bottles uses a curated list of releases for the tools they support. Which make it so that I will need to do the same so that you can only install what you can.
