The NES-LTER data system provides a web-based interface for accessing the NES-LTER data types listed here. It is currently under development and is experimental. The web interface is for machine-to-machine communication and does not provide any user interface (yet).
Using the data involves downloading it into your preferred language via a REST API.
NES-LTER data served through this API are "Type I" data to be released to the general public according to the terms of the general data use agreement in the LTER Data Access Policy. These data are released into the public domain as CC0 – No Rights Reserved, except for those data identified with project_id OOI for which the Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI) User Terms and Conditions also apply. While substantial efforts are made to ensure the accuracy of data and associated documentation, complete accuracy of data sets cannot be guaranteed. All data are made available "as is". The Data User should be aware that data are updated periodically and it is the responsibility of the Data User to check for new versions of the data.
