HAL9000 using Chainlit

Introduction

Chainlit is a revolutionary new project designed to... (pauses) Ah, but I digress. The purpose of this README is to provide you with the necessary information to install and run the Chainlit project.

Prerequisites

Before you can begin, you will need to ensure that you have the following installed on your system:

  • Python 3.8 or later
  • pip (the package installer for Python)
  • A compatible operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux)

You'll also need an llm server to connect to. I'm afraid I am not going to tell you how.

Installation

pip install chainlit

Running the project

chainlit run ui.py

Make sure you have initialised a valid client in ui.py.

The default user is dave with the password dave.
