1.7.0 Release Timeline?

Am interested to know what the (approximate) timeline is for the 1.7.0 release (if known). Also am would be interested to know if any alphas, betas, or release candidates would be planned.

I think in two weeks we will have RC1. We target release by end of the month. Generally speaking our release branches are relatively stable. We are running thousands of test for each pull request.

My interest is in building a UCX package. Though the packaging ecosystem I'm working within prefers using an RC or final release in general (even if things seem pretty stable now). So looking forward to RC1 🙂
