Performance

This library was tweaked for best performance for single use - translating application with many strings using mo file. Current benchmarks show it's about four times faster than original php-gettext.

There are two benchmark scripts in the code:

benchmark-context.php - benchmarks context usage
benchmark-plural.php - benchmarks plural evaluation
benchmark.php - benchmarks file parsing
benchmark-apcu.php - benchmarks file parsing with APCu cache enabled
