• If users subscribe to a version, and some time later, they upgrade to a later LTS version, then they need to subscribe to the later version again.
• It's relatively complex to implement.
• Whether there are enough needs from real customers or users.

I talked with the demand-side, and we reached an agreement that we don't support subscribing to a certain version now.

#474 is to add the subscription form to save the emails to SendGrid contact list which we can later manually trigger or program to send emails to all the emails in the list.
