Stake Bet Analyzer is a Chrome extension designed to help users passively analyze their completed betting history on specific gambling platforms like stake.com and stake.us. It aims to promote responsible gambling by providing insights and analytics based on past bets, without interacting with active gambling mechanisms.
The primary goal of the extension is to empower users to make informed decisions by visualizing patterns and trends in their past betting behavior. No personal data or real-time gambling activities are accessed or influenced by the extension.
Due to Chrome Web Store policies regarding gambling-related extensions, Stake Bet Analyzer must be installed manually. Follow these steps to install it:
- Download the extension ZIP file from the repository.
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/. - Enable Developer mode in the top-right corner of the extensions page.
- Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped extension folder.
- The extension should now be visible in your Chrome browser.
- Be sure to refresh stake in browser after adding extension to initiate tracking.

- Local Data Processing: All data is processed locally within the user's browser, ensuring no external data transmission.

Stake Bet Analyzer is committed to user privacy and data security:
- No Data Transmission: All betting data is stored and processed locally within the browser using Chrome's storage.local API.
- No Personal Information: The extension does not access any personal information, login credentials, or payment details.
- Limited Permissions: Only necessary permissions are requested to read and analyze betting data.
- Download the extension ZIP file from here or our website stakeanalyzer.live.
- Unzip the downloaded file to a location of your choice.
- Open Google Chrome and type
chrome://extensions/in the address bar. - Enable Developer mode in the top-right corner of the extensions page.
- Click on the Load unpacked button and select the unzipped folder you extracted earlier.
- Once loaded, you should see the Stake Bet Analyzer extension icon in your Chrome toolbar.
Stake Bet Analyzer was rejected from the Chrome Web Store due to its functionality related to gambling sites. However, the extension differs significantly from other gambling-related extensions in its focus on data analysis rather than facilitating or encouraging gambling.
- The extension was rejected under the policy that prohibits "providing functionality on gambling sites."
The rejection was challenged based on the following points:
- Non-Interference: The extension does not interact with active gambling sessions; it only passively collects completed betting data.
- Privacy and Responsibility: The extension is designed to promote responsible gambling behavior by giving users access to detailed analytics and insights.
- Policy Inconsistency: Several extensions that directly facilitate gambling were approved*.
Despite these arguments, the Chrome Web Store maintained its decision, suggesting that other non-compliant extensions should be reported separately.
If the appeal is unsuccessful, we plan to explore alternative distribution methods and possibly adjust the extension’s functionality to better comply with Chrome Web Store policies. However, we remain committed to providing a tool that empowers users to analyze their betting data responsibly.
