Live Migration

Live Migration is an Enterprise level feature we've rolled out, that allows loading a GeoIP update to a live, production database with no downtime.

Live Migration is automatic in version 0.9.0 and above. It detects a subkey clash and loads the database into a temporary subkey by appending X to the name of the original subkey; loading the data, deleting the original subkey and renaming the temporary subkey to the original name. There's no downtime and updates don't interrupt the production environment.
