Implement a solidifed class in C++ code

Hi there. I looked at the docs and Tasmota's implementation of solidification. As I understood, you run the solidify.dump(class) snippet and it spits out the definition of the class:

However, when I put this into a solidified_class.h file and then I include it in my other cpp file, it starts complaining about the be_nested_str not being defined and keywords too.

That got me sniffing around to find where it is defined and I found the be_constobj.h. However, when I include it, those defines are still not being included, because of the ifnded __cplusplus clause.

Am I missing something? I am running on ESP32 ESP-IDF FW. Thanks!

Ah yes... I wasn't able to make it work with C++ compiler. Solidified code needs to be include in a .c file. You can then call them from C++.

It means that the file using this string was not visible by the coc compiler. Please double check the command line

I added this debug log into the coc script.

And it does print this line:

solidified_spectoda.c

Ahh, got it!

Tasmota's coc:

        if re.search(r"\.(h|c|cc|cpp)$", filename):

My coc:

        if re.search(r"\.(c|cc|cpp)$", filename):

And the keywords were in the .h file, which was not getting parsed. Foolish mistake, thanks for help 😄.
