Describe the bug
Jitsi widget conferences don't load on Android, and show the same infinite loop that self-hosted ones do.

I initially tried self-hosting, which worked except on mobile (as mentioned in issue #2168). I then tried removing self-hosting of jitsi from my server and using the default jitsi.riot.im that dimension provides, but encounter the same issue.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Add a jitsi widget to a room using dimension on a synapse server.
  2. Open the room on Element Android.
  3. Click on "join with voice" or "video"
  4. See infinite loading loop.

Expected behavior
Video conference to load.

Screenshots
See #2168.

Same here, we are experiencing the issue on android 7 (old sony Xperai Z5), 8 (Huawei phone) and 9 (Huawei MediaPad).
And the issue doesn't seem related to the self-hosted homeserver since it happens also with matrix.org accounts.

connection is working on iOS however there seem to be a "mute" issue ^^

Same here on Cosmo Communicator, Android 9, Element 1.1.12 and all versions I tried before. Same conference works with Linux client.
