I have transferred 5 ether payment on ShapeShift though bitcoin.

But i haven't received my ether.

Normally it should automatically sync in the background. Note that this can take up to 20h on slower systems.

Although there could have been a problem, please upload the node.log as described here:

• Log files
  • go to menu -> accounts -> backup -> application data
  • zip and upload node.log and all other node.log.X files

Hi @ASHISHETHER, according to your log you seem to be affected by the issue #1701. A fix will be published with the upcoming release 0.8.10 next week. Until then you can simply start the geth executable before launch the wallet/Mist. You can get it from http://geth.ethereum.org.
