This doesn't work in its current form because we use a runner script, and distroless images don't include a shell: https://github.com/linkerd/linkerd2/blob/e784b5b767949e6c0551f56c1ea9266e9a427a24/proxy-identity/run-proxy.sh It should be pretty simple to port this script to a standalone binary to avoid the runtime dependency on a shell. |
