stream: don't emit 'data' after 'error' or 'close' #39639

As per doc we should not emit further events after 'close' and only 'close' after 'error'.

Otherwise we can have unexpected bugs, a typical case that I've had in production was something like:

fs.open(path, 'w', (err, fd) => {
  src.on('data', chunk => {
    fs.write(fd, chunk)
  })
  src.on('close', () => {
    fs.close(fd)
  })
})

Where we keep writing to fd after it's been closed which is undefined behavior.

This breaks ws. I think I can work around that but backporting it to unsupported release lines to fix compatibility with the next major version of Node.js is a bit of a pain.

Yeah, this is what I had expected from reading the docs.

Perhaps the docs for 'destroy' should also be updated to explain that it should cause the stream free any internal resources except not any locally buffered reads previously pushed into it?

As per doc we should not emit further events after 'close' and only 'close' after 'error'. Fixes: nodejs#39630
