Hello there,

I am 20 years old, passionate programmer in Java in my free-time and I am mainly working on a 2D game engine currently, beginning with my project called "GUInness" which is the base for further implementations.
GUInness focuses on game (engine) development to make it easier.
It unites the easier creation and management of GUIs and general IO.
When it's done I want to begin with the actual development of the game engine which combines more features and it will be ported first to OpenGL in order to get better performance.
Currently, it is still written in pure Java and it uses the Swing interface which will change then.
