What is different from the official image ?

Nothing expect the contents of /var/www/html.

How to use

5.2 versions (currently in support for bug fixes)

- image: phpmyadmin:5
+ image: botsudo/phpmyadmin-snapshots:5.2-snapshot

6.0 versions (not released yet, early early testers only !)

Do not use this version if you do not intend to do very early testing!

Is there telemetry ?

No. We do not care about it, we want bug reports from our users: https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/new/choose

How can I trust this image ?

You can but also should check. Trust also needs to be checked for software !

Install container-diff.

TLDR;

No system files are changed, at all. The source is installed by this script/gist that you can run on your server.

How can I keep up to date ?

Use watchtower.
